A couple of weeks ago the Transcription module for the Olympus DSS Voice Recorder just wouldn't load for a user at one site.

I've liaised with Olympus and reinstalled all software but with the same result.

The software quits with no Event Viewer notifications, but the other Olympus apps do work.
I've changed compatibility modes and run as admin without success.

Sideline issues are that Windows 7 SP1 and a couple of specific Windows Updates won't install (but others do).Olympus Dss Player Standard Download
We couldn't revert to a system restore as it was set to 0%....
Any ideas for troubleshooting would be great
